Panther girls second, boys third at Gettysburg Track Invite

Junior Talley Locken, eighth grader Josie Boldt, and sophomore Korbi Heck finished 1-2-3 in the girls 400 meter and senior Holden Gill won the800 meter run to lead Timber Lake to top three finishes in the Battler Invitational track meet in Gettysburg last Friday, April 10.
Brothers Hayden and Hadley Thompson posted top 10 finishes to lead the Timber Lake boys golf team to third place overall at the Gettysburg Invitational last Saturday, April 11. Hayden Thompson finished tied for seventh with Hayden Liebl of Warner by shooting an 84. Hadley Thompson followed in ninth place with 85 strokes. Dupree’s Cudmore leads Tigers at Northern State Open

Dupree senior Tayshaun Cudmore claimed top honors in both the 800 and 1600 meter runs to lead the Tigers at the Northern State Open in Aberdeen last Tuesday, March 31.Cudmore won the 800 meter run with a personal best time of2:08.79 and added the 1600 meter in 4:54.80.

Four of six players named firstteam selections to the 2025-2026 All-Little Moreau Conference honors list were from conference champion Dupree while Timber Lake had the most honors recipients with five.

Late TL coach recognized with Legacy Award

The late Mark Senftner, a graduate of McLaughlin High School who led the Timber Lake girls basketball program to state girls basketball appearances, was recognized last weekend by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association and the National High School Basketball Coaches Association.
