English teacher Megan Bickel presented these awards at the Awards Day program on May 7: Let’s kick things off with the award for Best Romeo. This award goes to the student who took on Shakespeare’s most famous heartthrob and made us all believe he had a balcony in his backyard.

The Dupree School held their annual end of year staff recognition party and showed appreciation to staff through a taco meal, cake, certificates of recognition, Terry Redlin prints and quilts.
Eight youngsters graduated from Timber Lake Head Start on May 23. They performed songs for an audience at the Timber Lake Community Center and received diplomas, awards, and gifts. The graduates are (l-r): Alaia Edwards, Noah Marshall, Leah Mellette, Douglas Kraft, Riley Schumacher, Payton Bollinger, Slash Lawrence, and Kash Ward.
