Dupree School celebrates Red Ribbon Week Oct. 27-31

The Dupree Elementary and JH/HS Student Councils joined forces and held a school-wide Red Ribbon Week Event Oct. 27-31. Red Ribbon Week is an annual drug, tobacco, alcohol, and violence prevention campaign that honors DEA special agent Enrique Camarena.

Cordewzeys begin new 4-H year

On October 19 the Cordewzeys had a 4-H meeting at the Isabel Community Center. Old business was discussing book turn in. New business involved signing up for presentation times, community service activities, election of officers, setting a club goal, and possibility of ordering a 4-H flag.

With so many careers to choose from and numerous college/vocational/military/employment options available, Dupree High School is exposing their seniors to some of the opportunities available.
