A ribbon cutting was held Friday, September 4 for the new Eagle Butte location of West Side Meats. The CRST Buffalo Authority Corporation also operates West Side Meats in Mobridge and West Side Meats C Store in LaPlant. Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Chairman Ryman LeBeau (center) and CRST Council member Joseph Brings Plenty, Sr.(right) were among those participating in the ribbon cutting.

Frequent donor Kathleen Meier was one of the volunteers who donated blood at the blood drive conducted by Valiant at Timber Lake on Monday, August 31. Her donation put her at the one gallon mark.
