Residents warned about court notice scam

The South Dakota Unified Judicial System (UJS) is alerting the public to a recent scam involving fraudulent text messages claiming to be from a state or municipal court regarding unpaid traffic violations.The messages direct recipients to scan a QR code or click a link to pay an alleged fine.

Timber Lake High School competes at State FFA Convention

More than 2000 South Dakota FFA members from schools across the state gathered in Brookings April 20-22 for the annual FFA convention.
Scholarship awards were presented to senior members of the Friendly Few 4-H Club, during the 4-H Recognition Event on April 10. Recipients were (l-r) Maverick Lemke, Ziebach County 4-H Leaders Association Scholarship, Minda Woodward, Mercedes Lemke Memorial Scholarship, and Wyatt Lemke, Ziebach County Leaders Association Scholarship.
