Lindskov’s LT Ranch of rural Isabel and the Pine Creek Angus ranch near Faith are among the top 10 producers who registered the most Angus cattle in the state of South Dakota during fiscal year 2025, which ended Sept. 30.Combined, the top 10 producers recorded a total of 7,343 head.

Pheasant season expectations are high for hunters and area merchants

The fall pheasant hunting outlook for Dewey County and the surrounding area this year is very positive, with good pheasant production expected due to favorable nesting and broodrearing conditions from adequate spring and summer moisture, and the continuation of excellent grassland habitat.
