Several Green Bay/Tucker Kraft fans from Wisconsin drove to Timber Lake to watch the Packers game with other fans at The Corner Bar and Grill on Monday night. Although Tucker is out for the season with an injury and the Packers lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 10-7, the Wisconsin fans said it was worth the 1200 mile trip.

Isabel to return portion of wastewater grant funds

The town of Isabel has to return more than half of the Community Development Block Grant funds it received for a $2.04 million wastewater improvement project after costs came in far below estimates.As it turns out, that’s a good thing.

Children’s Theater

The Dakota Players, an outreach program of the Black Hills Playhouse, visited Timber Lake Middle School last week to assist students in presenting “You Look Marvelous!” The presentation involved 55 students serving as actors, assistant directors and more.
