Fifty dolls, all created by hand by Mary Dorsey in recognition of Isabel’s Golden Jubilee in 1986, are currently on display in the Isabel Community Center after being in storage for decades. Dorsey actually made two of each doll with one of each pair auctioned during the Jubilee celebration.

New members of the Timber Lake High School chapter of the National Honor Society were inducted in a ceremony on April 14. L-R are Kaydence Ouzts, Kamee Mareska, Lexi Locken, Jaycie Lemburg, Korbi Heck, Nevaeh Fernandez, Mila Mowrer, Preston Maciejewski, Kruz Lindskov, Jackson Bigger, Mason Bickel, Evan Schweitzer, Xander Keller, Landen Bieber. Students are chosen for membership based on scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Schools compete in annual Northwest Area Schools Academic Olympics

Perry Keller, Joe Martindale and Kyle Tesch of Keller Trenching, along with Albert Keller of Keller Drilling, removed the old solar panels from the roof of the Isabel City Shop last week as part of a re-roofing project. The flat roof is being replaced by a pitched roof.
