Belle Fourche attorney appointed magistrate judge for Fourth Circuit

The South Dakota Supreme Court has appointed Timothy Barnaud as a magistrate judge for the Fourth Judicial Circuit, the South Dakota Unified Judicial System announced Monday.Barnaud will fill the vacancy created by the appointment of Chad Callahan as a circuit judge.

On Wednesday, July 1, one of the oldest buildings in Isabel was torn down.One of the first owners of the building was a man who sold war bonds on the first floor and lived on the second. He even had a tiller’s door out front which was still in the building before it was taken down.
