Work is scheduled to get underway Monday, April 22, on U.S. Highway 12 in Corson County between Morristown and Watauga, which involves a nine and one-half mile project, including the replacement of the narrow bridge one mile east of Morristown.

The Cheyenne River Youth Project has purchased a nearly 40-acre tract of land adjacent to Bear Butte State Park in Meade County, South Dakota. While April 15 was the deadline for Timber Lake High School seniors to apply for the Urban Scholarships, a new deadline of June 1 is announced for applications for the Urban Community Scholarships.
