Kyrie Lemburg of Timber Lake (ABOVE, SECOND FROM RIGHT) purchased the winning raffle ticket for a trip to the Green Bay Packers - Minnesota Vikings game in Minneapolis on December 29.

To kick off the holiday season, the Dupree School hosted a traditional day-long Buffalo Harvest. Students and classes came and went throughout the day to learn and grow in the Lakota culture.

The Dupree High School FFA, advised by Doug Hofer, enjoyed working with the kindergarten classes as they taught them about horticulture. Through the event, they went to several stations and did “dirt cups” to eat, made birdseed ornaments, and learned about spider plants.

Timber Lake High School students, directed by Heather Kraft, are preparing for the one-act play competition in January. The play, a drama based on the Greek tragedy by Euripedes, is “Madea” by Nelly E. Cuella-Garcia.
