Several track events cancelled due to inclement weather

Spring weather has not been kind to the track schedule the past two weeks as cool, windy and rainy weather forced the cancellation of the Timber Lake Jr. High Invitational and the Harold Severson Invitational in Lemmon last week, as well as the Eureka Lions Club Meet that was set Tuesday, April 30.

Farlee wins 200m to lead Panthers at Belle Fourche

Speedster Gavin Farlee had a banner day for the Timber Lake Panthers last Tuesday, April 23, at the Northern Hills Invitational in Belle Fourche, capturing top honors in the 200 meter run and posting a third place finish in the 100 meter event. No team scores were posted.

Several Timber Lake athletes and relay teams are among those leading the state’s Class B track and field ranks in their respective events as the season winds to an end. The State Class B track and field meet will be held May 23-25 in Sioux Falls.
