One Isabel cowgirl edged another at White River Rodeo

Jacque Peterson of Isabel posted a time of 2.80 to claim top honors in the ladies breakaway roping event at the White River Frontier Rodeo held Saturday and Sunday.
Battling right behind her was Patti Jo Burress of Isabel, who tied for second overall with a time of 2.90 seconds.
Other local place winners were: Barrels - 1. Colbee Woodward, Dupree, 18.05; 7. Cayci Spencer, Faith, 18.11.
