Days of 1910 Demo Derby winners include 16-year-old
Winners of the Days of 1910 Demo Derby included (left) Isaac Lehman of Pierre and Dyllan Rohrbach of Hoven; (above, middle) Chance Jensen of Mobridge was crowned Mad Dog of the derby for his no-holdsbarred style of driving and claimed $500 in prize money and a cooler full of beverages; (above, right) Driving in the first demolition derby of his life, 16-year-old Ryker Parmely of Pierre walked off with first place in the chain class, taking home $1,000 and some nice hardware for his room.
The number of entries was down from last year, but the Timber Lake Rodeo Association’s annual Days of 1910 Demo Derby once again provided the kind of car-crunching action local fans love.
Among the winners this year was 16-year-od Ryker Parmely of Pierre, who was driving in his first-ever derby.
