Linda Red Bird, 46, of Eagle Butte entered the Spirit World on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Sanford Medical Center at Bismarck, ND. A wake service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21 at St. John’s Episcopal Church at Eagle Butte. The funeral will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Thomas O. “Tom” Gibson

Thomas O. ‘Tom’ Gibson, 82, of Rapid City died October 3, 2021. Tom was born September 14, 1939, in Emmons County, ND to Earl and Cora (Renskers) Gibson. He graduated from Timber Lake High School in 1958. Tom enlisted in the US Air Force in 1961 and proudly served for 22 years.

Services for Tell Mound, 35, were held October 11, 2021 at White Horse with burial also at White Horse. Tell Jesse Mound was born January 31, 1986 to Linda Grazier and Alvin Mound in Pierre and passed away October 6, 2019 in Sioux Falls. He was raised in Promise and Mobridge.

Leann M. Iron Bird

Leann M. (Little Shield) Iron Bird, 35, of White Horse passed away October 3, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. MT, Thursday, October 14, 2021 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Eagle Butte. Burial will follow in the Dupree City Cemetery.

Oscar Stradinger, 102, of Rapid City died October 1, 2021. Arrangements are with Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home of Rapid City. There will be a small family gathering at Isabel at a later date. Oscar Stradinger was born on May 7, 1919 in Isabel.

Inez Josephine Locken, 69, of Lostine, OR died September 28, 2021, at a local care facility after fighting breast cancer for eight years. A grave side service will be held October 16 at 11 a.m. at the Lostine Cemetery.

Funeral services for James “Jim” Howard Boldt, 71, of Isabel were held Monday, October 11, 2021, at the Isabel Community Center. Burial was at Hillview Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Jim went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 2, 2021 at home.

Marilyn (Agneaux) Salter, 40, of Pierre, a Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe member, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls. Celebration of life services will be 10:00 a.m. MT on Monday, October 18, 2021 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Eagle Butte.
