Delbert Johnson, 58, of Eagle Butte passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2022 at Landmark Hall in Eagle Butte. Burial will follow in the Congregational Cemetery at LaPlant. A wake service will be 6:00 p.m.

John Clinton Harris, 67, of Bridgeville, PA passed away on February 20, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emerson Harris and Betty Brinkman Harris Walker, and a brother, Vernon Harris. He is survived by his four daughters: Aurora R. Newell (Floyd Newell) of Mitchell, Misty R.

Monte “Buckshot” Knight, 73, of south Dupree passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Vacaville, CA with Mary Reeves by his side. Services will be a mix of traditional and contemporary practices. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. MT on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Landmark Hall in Eagle Butte.

Leonard Martian

Leonard James Martian was born to Jacob and Angeline Martian on August 6, 1947 in rural Glencross. He grew up on the Martian family farm where he enjoyed many fond moments of speaking German, even when the teacher didn’t allow it, and “raising Cain” on the farm with his brothers and sisters.
