Timothy Boyd Thompson

Timothy Boyd Thompson, 64, of Hysham, MT, passed away unexpectedly on September 9, 2020 at Hysham, MT. Tim was born June 20, 1956 to Boyd and Sally (Badure) Thompson at Mobridge. He spent his youth in Timber Lake, where he attended Timber Lake Public School through his junior year. Tim graduated from Earnest Righetti High School at Santa Maria, CA and the University of California at Santa Barbara. He lived in several California cities, Hawaii, and Missouri. Tim’s broad and eclectic interests and desire for knowledge was impressive; animals, books, computers, cooking, and music were a few of Tim's passions. He was an avid writer and wonderful storyteller; his bouts of wisdom and engaging stories will be missed.

Tim was a beloved father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend to many, including the veterinary community where he was employed. He shared a special relationship with his Aunt LaVon (Vonnie) Adair while living in Hysham for the past several years.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Amara Victoria Schubert; sister Rhonda Lea (Phoenix) Martinez; brother Kelly G. (Susan) Thompson; nieces Bailee Marie Thompson and Shelby Lea Thompson; Aunts LaVon (Vonnie) Adair and Violet (Vi) Hagstrom, and Uncle Allen Badure. He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
