Nova Grace Uses The Knife, precious baby of Shelby Uses the Knife of Eagle Butte and beloved sister to Lexi, Jr., Owen, and Sidney, was born in the arms of angels at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 9:36 a.m., weighing 2 lbs. 5 oz. and measuring 15 inches.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at The Lighthouse, Eagle Butte. Burial was in the Eagle Butte Cemetery.
Although Nova Grace never spent any time on earth, she was loved and will be missed.
Nova is survived by her mother, Shelby Uses The Knife; sister Lexi Uses The Knife; brothers Samuel, Owen and Sidney; grandparents Billie Garreaux and Raymond Uses The Knife; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was greeted in heaven by her grandma, Mashawn Uses Many; cousin Alex Anderson; and aunts, Chris Uses The Knife and Karlee Fast Wolf.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg was in charge of arrangements.
