Lester Alonzo Peneaux, 9, of Eagle Butte entered the Spirit World on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Eagle Butte.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Eagle Butte, with Gary Morgan officiating. Burial followed at the Eagle Butte Cemetery.
Lester is survived by his father, Trent Peneaux, Sr., of Eagle Butte; twin brother and sister, Takoda Peneaux and Taliyah Peneaux, and brother, Trent Peneaux, Jr. of Eagle Butte; paternal grandparents, Dale Iron Lightning, Mike and Connie Corwitt and special grandpa, Willy Charging Cloud; maternal grandparents Terry Collins, Jr. and Erica Black Moon of Eagle Butte; and greatgrandparents, Terry Collins, Sr. and Janet Collins of Eagle Butte.
Rooks Funeral Home of Eagle Butte is in charge of arrangments.
