Mass of Christian Burial for Hayden James Hettich, 1 ½ year old son of Patrick and Justice Hettich of Bismarck, ND, was held April 1, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mobridge.

Hayden passed away at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo, ND on March 25, 2024.

Hayden James Hettich was born July 19, 2022, in Bismarck to Justice and Patrick Hettich. He is the baby brother of Preston (9) and Paislee (8) of Mobridge, and Grayson Hettich (4) of Bismarck.

Hayden enjoyed being constantly on the go and running wild. If there was an open snack, you’d bet he’d snatch it up and eat it. He gave the best kisses and hugs. Hayden was one of a kind. His family will miss his big smile, his bright blue eyes, and his stubborn attitude.

Grateful for having shared Hayden’s life are his parents, brothers, and sister; his grandparents Mike and Trina Mardian of Mobridge, Paul and Marjorie Keller of Mobridge, Tracey Long of Timber Lake, Judy Mardian of Aberdeen, and Shirley Poitra of Kenel; four aunties: Lakesha Hettich of Timber Lake, Sydney (Teagen) Bailey and Katie (Chanc) McLaughlin of Bismarck, and Sequoia Taken Alive of Timber Lake; three uncles: Wyatt Hettich and Ricky Hettich of Timber Lake, and Jordyn Keller of Mobridge; four cousins: Aliyana and Phoenix Fischer, Ava Hettich, Skylar Keller, Torin Fredrickson; special uncles and aunties: Lance and Kalib Keller of McLaughlin, Breau and Amy Keller of Wichita, KS, Sean and Katie Keller and Heather and Josh Stoick of Mobridge, Megan and Randy Schott of Bozeman, MT, Regan, Ava, and Corbin Stoick of Mobridge, Melvin (Mandi) Miner, Jessie (Dusty) Talley, Brenden (Jestice) Harrison, Ray (Jacob) Talley; and Patrick’s paternal family of Kenel, maternal family of Bullhead/McLaughlin; and many more friends and family.

Hayden is preceded in death by Irma and Ron Hettich of McLaughlin, Theresa Taken Alive of Bullhead, Jerry Mardian of Aberdeen, and Sandy Walking Elk of Kenel.
