Delores Rivera, 67, of Nevis, MN passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services were held on April 24, 2025, at the CRST Bingo Hall, Eagle Butte. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, LaPlant.
Delores Marie Rivera was born in Saint Paul Hospital on November 28, 1957. In the beginning she had a hard life and overcame it with the love she received from her family. A life of hardships made her into a strong, dependable person who never faltered in any situation she was put into.
Delores was known for her unwavering strength, compassion, and tireless devotion to those she loved. Her presence was a constant comfort in the lives of many.
Delores grew up with a strong sense of responsibility that guided her throughout her life. From a young age, she embraced hard work. Her work ethic was unmatched, and she took great pride in being someone that others could depend on.
Family was the heart of Delores’s world. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, she poured her love and time into creating a warm and welcoming home. Her generosity, wisdom, and endless patience touched countless lives and left a legacy of kindness that will live on.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren. She also leaves behind her husband, siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
