Cheryl Ann Kost, 71, of Red Cloud, NE passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026. She was born to Donald and Geraldine (Malloy) Stankey in Mobridge on November 26, 1954.
Cheryl graduated from Cheyenne-Eagle Butte High School. After her graduation she married and was blessed with three children. Cheryl later divorced.
In 1978 Cheryl moved to Red Cloud and called it her home until she passed away. She was a beloved mother, sister, and friend.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 12 at the Williams & Kuehn Funeral Home in Red Cloud. Committal services were held on Friday, February 13 at the Timber Lake Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons and her mother, Geraldine Patterson.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital Cancer Research and may be sent in care of Williams & Kuehn Funeral Home, 241 West 4th Ave., Red Cloud, NE 68970.
