Belinda Brown Wolf, 34, of Eagle Butte entered the spirit world Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Cheyenne River Health Center, Eagle Butte.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Eagle Butte with burial in the St. Thomas Cemetery at On The Tree. Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg was in charge of arrangements.

Belinda Mary Brown Wolf was born on March 18, 1990, in Rapid City to Quentin “Que” Brown Wolf and Joyce (Blue Coat) Young Bird. She attended school at Cheyenne-Eagle Butte and later transferred to Continental Academy in Florida, where she received her high school diploma with honor.

In the summer of 2010, Belinda, along with her nephew Keiser, worked as US Forestry workers with the National Park Service Fire and Aviation Management in Nemo. She also worked as District Deputy for the Eagle Butte area during 2011 and 2012, and was part-time security guard for Medicine Wheel Village at the same time. In May 2014, Belinda started her career with CRST Law Enforcement as an Adult Detention Officer. She worked at Dupree Lakota Thrifty Mart as a cashier for a short time before going back to CRST Law Enforcement as a 911 Emergency Dispatcher in April 2022. In January 2023 she became sick and was no longer able to work.

During her time here on earth, Belinda was given a pup that she raised. He was her “baby” and she named him Milo.

Belinda’s favorite sports teams were the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Dodgers. She enjoyed going on road trips, listening to music, watching movies, driving around on back roads, taking Milo to run wild in a field, hanging out with friends, family, and work “family,” and playing video games.

Belinda’s most memorable road trip was driving to San Diego, CA to watch her nephew, Gavin, graduate from the Marine Corps, and driving through Las Vegas on the way home.
