Harvey (left) and Dan (right) Schmeichel, brothers and owners of Schmeichel’s Repair in McLaughlin, will host an open house on Friday, Nov. 4, from 12-7 p.m. to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their father, business founder Lester Schmeichel, becoming one of the nation’s early Kawasaki dealers - an agreement that has helped make Schmeichel’s Repair a mainstay for customers across the region since 1953.
