Dewey County rancher and Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe member Zach Ducheneaux has been appointed Administrator of the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) - the first Native American to ever hold the position.
His selection was announced on Friday and Ducheneaux officially assumed his new responsibilities on Monday, Feb. 22.
