Joe Scherr, 86, of Gillette, WY died recently. At his request, no services were held.
Joe was the son of Jake and Nettie (Myers) Scherr and was raised in the Timber Lake area. He attended Long Butte Country School and graduated from Timber Lake High School in 1957.
Survivors include his sister, Clara Ann Herman of Timber Lake; brother Jacob Scherr of Gillette; children Jody, Rhonda and Melissa; and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Kay, sisters Joyce and Alice and brother Buster.
