Dustin Van Balen of KNOWiNK shows off the new Poll Pad system that will replace the traditional paper poll book at Dewey County voting precincts starting with the June 2 Primary. The Dewey County Board of Commissioners voted 4-1 last week to implement the system.
A new electronic poll book system for elections was approved by the Dewey County Commission at its February 5 regular meeting. Plans are to have the system in place in time for the June 2 primary election.
The vote was 4-1 to adopt the KNOWiNK system with commissioner Rod Enright voting no and Bob Berndt, Bob Keckler, Mandy Locken and Dee Ann Lawrence voting yes. Enright cast his vote early in the …
