Funeral services for Georgia Pay Pay, 61, of Mobridge were held September 12, 2025 at Kesling Funeral Home. Burial was at Blackfoot Ascension Cemetery in Blackfoot.
Georgia passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Georgia Ann Pay Pay was born on May 9, 1964, in Mobridge to Angeline (Ducheneaux) Pay Pay and George Pay Pay Sr. She graduated from Wakpala High School. Soon after, she married Theron “Chapa” Iron Cloud. From this union, seven children were born: Gerard and Gared Pay Pay, and Tora, Montie, Bonnie, Tommi, and Theron “Sonny” Iron Cloud.
After many years of marriage, Georgia pursued her life in Rapid City. There she gave birth to Marquis Scares the Hawk. She then met her husband-to-be, Orville Fights Over. They moved to Sioux Falls and had another son, Brent Miles.
Georgia enjoyed the powwow trail, beading and sewing, jamming her powwow tunes as well as her country “oldies but goodies.”
