Funeral services for James Harlan Archambault, 62, of Sioux Falls were held May 23, 2025 at the Wakpala Community Center in Wakpala. Interment, under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, was held at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Cemetery, Wakpala.
James Harlan Archambault went home to the Spirit World on May 17, 2025 in Sioux Falls.
He was born on June 16, 1962 in Wakpala. He was raised in Wakpala and best known as Jimmy Skunk/ “Badass.” He mainly worked as what he called “cowboy lifestyle” throughout the Standing Rock Reservation. He enjoyed working with horses, telling stories and spending time with his family and friends.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Kansas and her husband Ricardo Zuniga; his son Shye and his wife DeVonnie Archambault; and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Two Hearts and Diane Archambault; Marie Jean DeWitt; and Kenny Four Bears.
