Allen “Kermit” Chasing Hawk, 60, of Eagle Butte entered the Spirit World on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Cheyenne River Health Center at Eagle Butte.
A funeral was held Monday, November 4 at the Bingo Hall with burial at St. Pius Catholic Cemetery at Red Scaffold.
Kermit is survived by three sons, Dylan Chasing Hawk of Eagle Butte, Rusty Chasing Hawk and Kermit Chasing Hawk of Sioux City, IA; two daughters, Ember Chasing Hawk and Mandy Chasing Hawk of Wyoming; one brother and one sister, Linus Chasing Hawk and Juanita Chasing Hawk of Eagle Butte; and numerous grandchildren.
