Cuts to federal DOE budget could impact local schools

With the federal budget deadline looming, one of President Donald Trump’s proposals for the Department of Education could mean significant changes for area schools.“This is the federal budget,” noted Danielle Farrie, research director of Education Law Center.
Students at Timber Lake High School will celebrate Homecoming next week beginning on Sunday, Sept. 28, with a Booster Club BBQ at 3:30 p.m. and coronation at 6 p.m. in the school theater.
