Harvest season is about to kick off for the Trail City area with farmers waiting for warmer and dryer days.Esther Hahne went to the Mobridge Demolition Derby on Saturday with Brian and Joy Voegele. Also attending the derby were Theresa, Peyton, Devon, and Rylan Keller.
District 28A Representative Jana Hunt of Faith was recently recognized with the “Friend of the Legislature” award from the South Dakota Stockgrowers Association (SDSA) at its 2025 annual convention. Hunt was honored for her efforts to preserve and defend agriculture and livestock producers. Pictured during the award presentation are Chuck Willard, SDSA President; Hunt; and SDSA Executive Director Doris Lauing.

Western Dakota Bank float entry wins ‘Best of Show’ at Isabel Parade

Western Dakota Bank’s entry in the Isabel Celebration Parade won two awards on Saturday, Aug. 2, including first place for Best Theme Relevancy and the coveted “Best of Show” Award.The theme for this year’s parade was Red, White & Blue Prairie Nights.
