Eagle Butte Airport on list to receive weather cameras

The Eagle Butte Airport is one of several that may get a weather camera installed at their facility.The South Dakota Dept. of Transportation and the South Dakota Aeronautics Commission have been reaching out to airports across the state to gauge interest in operating an aviation weather camera.

On May 5, at four in the morning, Carl Winterberg and his son Adrian of Timber Lake were at an airport in Sioux Falls, boarding a plane bound for Washington, DC.
