When we think about the crucifixion of Jesus we tend to focus on the experience of Jesus. As we should, as He will forever be the focus. At the same time, may we pay attention to the incredible conversation between Jesus and the man next to him, a thief.

What Wondrous Love is This?

This Easter hymn is one of my favorites. It runs through my head all through Lent and Easter. Asking the question, “What Wondrous Love is This?”

The greatest question you will ever face is this: “Who is Jesus Christ to you?”

This question echoed while Jesus walked the earth. People wondered about His identity, saying, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah the prophet.” To this, Jesus questioned back, “But who do you say that I am?”This question even reached the foot of the cross.

The Battle was nothing like what you can imagine. It was the toughest, it was loud, it was painful. It was spiritual, it was physical. There were taunts from those in front of him and jeers from those on his sides. His Father turned his back on him.
