John Templer, president of Western Dakota Bank at Timber Lake and Isabel, was happy to fly Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft home from Dallas after his recent surgery for an ACL injury. They flew from Texas’ Love Field to Green Bay in Templer’s Cessna Conquest I on November 17.
Volunteers had to be called in to push out a Takini School bus that became stuck on one of the nearly impassable roads in the Cottonwood area on Tuesday, Nov. 25. No students were on the bus at the time it became stuck. Schools across the area cancelled classes and activities on Tuesday due to dangerous travel conditions.

AG convenes task force to review state open meeting laws
