At last count, Timber Lake & Area Development (TLAD) owned two 8-unit apartment buildings, two 3-bedroom DakotaPlex homes and two 2-bedroom Dakota Plex homes while also managing four Governor’s Houses for the Timber Lake School District.

Multiple departments respond to grass fire on Perkins Co. line

Multiple fire departments responded last Thursday afternoon, Feb. 26, to a sizeable grass fire west of Isabel along the Perkins County line that was fueled by gusting winds.Isabel Fire Chief Patrick Bridges said the fire was initially reported about 3:30 p.m.
