With the rapid rise in internet use among children, the dangers of online exploitation have grown alarmingly. Children’s access to the internet has become nearly ubiquitous, especially following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Girl’s State attendees Natalie Lawrence, left, and Meredith Maciejewski, spoke at the Isabel Veteran’s Day Supper on Sunday to relay their experiences at the week-event. Both said they now have a new-found respect for the way government works and the election system. Their attendance at Girl’s State was sponsored by the Isabel American Legion Auxiliary. Also attending Girl’s State but unable to attend the supper was Joie LeBeau.
