Corson County Sheriff Alan Dale January 85:10 p.m. responded to a business in McLaughlin for a fire alarm. It was found to be a false alarm.January 910:03 a.m. received a report of theft from a business in McIntosh.3:25 p.m. received a report of cattle out on Highway 63 north of McLaughlin.

NDSCS announces Fall Honor Roll

North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) has named to the Fall 2024 Presidents, 555 students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while completing at least 12 credits with letter grades.

4-H members visit capitol

Members from Dewey County, along with 4-H Program Assistant, Rita Long and Parent Volunteer Michelle Wientjes attended 4-H Capitol Day in Pierre on January 22.

SDSU announces fall 2024 dean’s list

More than 3,900 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance over the fall 2024 semester at South Dakota State University by being named to the dean’s list.

Local student named to NDSU dean’s list
