On their way there, they stopped in Illinois and Wisconsin to visit Lynn’s sisters.Laurie Bickel was in Harvey, ND this weekend to visit Casey, Courtney, Chloe, Curtis, Coy, and the new baby, Cooper Bryan Lautt.

Representatives from the Timber Lake Elementary School traveled to Austin, TX, last week where they were officially recognized as a National ESEA Distinguished School.The award, which is based on the outstanding academic achievement of students, was announced in January.

Timber Lake School selects new superintendent

Lori Enright of Mobridge has been hired as CEO/Superintendent/Special Education Director for the Timber Lake School. She will replace Dan Martin, who has been superintendent for the past nine years.

Triple R Ranch third annual fundraiser slated this Sunday

The Bluestem, a brother and sister bluegrass band from Elgin, ND, will be the entertainment at the third annual fundraiser for The Sanctuary from 4-8 p.m. at the Triple R Ranch, located 11 miles south of Isabel on Sunday, March 2.
