Tobi Hintz, daughter of Marty Hintz of Trail City, was crowned the 2020 South Dakota High School Rodeo Association Queen on Saturday at the State High School Finals Rodeo in Ft. Pierre. A freshman at Timber Lake High School, Hintz won five of the nine categories judged in the queen competition, including speech, appearance, modeling, personality and photogenics. She will compete July 13-23 in Guthrie, OK for the title of National High School Rodeo Queen. Tobi’s sister, Tyler, was crowned South Dakota HIgh School Rodeo Association Queen in 2017. This is the first time in the state association’s history that two sisters have worn the crown.
