Coaches within the Timber Lake High School athletic department have announced the student-athletes receiving year-end awards in their respective sports. The formal athletic awards presentation program usually conducted at the end of the school year was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so each coach is announcing their award winners this week via social media. The winners of fall athletic awards are listed and winners of winter athletic awards will appear in next week’s issue of the Topic.

FOOTBALL

Coach Ryan Gimbel’s squad finished the 2019 campaign with a 6-2 regular season record and advanced to the State 9A playoffs for the third consecutive year. The Panthers were eliminated from the playoffs by Warner in the first round.
